Funding
In a climate where confidence is low, and CAPEX hard to find, GW Energy are helping many companies survive. Particularly popular are zero cost options for SMEs using loans via the Carbon Trust. Not only do these cover the full cost of projects, and spread payments out so that lighting energy saving projects are cash positive from day 1, but the full cost is also tax deductable under the Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme. Interest free loans from the Carbon Trust
SME’s may be eligible for interest free loans from the Carbon Trust – please see this document for further details- Interest Free Loans. These loans are always structured so that payments are less than savings meaning that you can actually make a profit from day 1.

The enhanced capital allowance scheme (ECA) – cash from the taxman!
GW Energy’s lighting energy saving projects are approved by the Carbon Trust for the ECA scheme. Whether you are paying tax or not, you can claim the full costs of a project for tax purposes. For taxpayers this is at the full rate of 28% giving a real cash boost in the year of purchase. If you are not paying tax, you can get a cash payment from the taxman, usually at the rate of 19%! Carbon Trust Voltage Management Guide .....after a long time in consultation, GWE are happy to announce that the Carbon Trust have now released their Technology Guide for Voltage Management. It seems they have taken on board all of the concerns that GWE have had with the implementation of some other Voltage Optimisation systems, and are recommending a best practice guide for selection and implementation of Voltage Management for Energy Savings, which is directly in line with all the methods we have employed over the years with ECO-MAX.
