Funding

Power Optimisation
In the UK supply voltages tend to be much higher than needed by most equipment, wasting energy, and shortening the working life of some equipment. Our ECO-MAX range of Voltage Optimisers solve this problem and can also improve power quality when we build in Power Factor Correction or Harmonic Filtration for example. All sorts of smaller sites, and areas are suitable. GWE can provide a basic whole site ECO-MAX Voltage Optimisation unit, similar to our competitors offer, however our unique engineered approach and detailed site surveying will normally enable us to provide a more localised approach, tailoring bespoke equipment specific to your site, and only applied to the areas where substantial savings can be made. Lighting Optimisation
Where our localised approach and detailed surveying identifies large areas of discharge lighting,typically found in warehousing/ distribution, and manufacturing etc, our ECO-MAX Lighting Optimisers will be offered. These again are comprehensive lighting control systems incorporating technologies such as daylight dimming etc.. If you thought that the only way to make energy savings on your lighting is to replace your existing discharge lamps with low energy lighting, think again! Our solutions provide lighting energy savings of between 20% and 80% without changing any fittings. This is probably why we are the number one choice for large facilities operating long hours, such as Amazon, Asda, and Sainsbury’s distribution centres, where payback tends to be within 1 year.
Low Energy Lighting
The ECO-MAX Lighting Voltage Optimiser is itself a low energy lighting system which provides substantial lighting energy savings for discharge lighting such as SONs (sodium), metal halides (HQI, blended gas), and mercury. The savings are equivalent, or can be better than those achieved by replacing your discharge lighting system with a high frequency alternative with electronic ballasts. Your existing system can become a low energy lighting system with our ECO-MAX control system! Should you need a nerw lighting system anyway, for example, a new build, or where your existing lights are no longer servicable, we do have a range of energy saving lighting we can offer including LED, Induction, and T5 High Frequency fluorescent.

Carbon Trust Voltage Management Guide .....after a long time in consultation, GWE are happy to announce that the Carbon Trust have now released their Technology Guide for Voltage Management. It seems they have taken on board all of the concerns that GWE have had with the implementation of some other Voltage Optimisation systems, and are recommending a best practice guide for selection and implementation of Voltage Management for Energy Savings, which is directly in line with all the methods we have employed over the years with ECO-MAX.
